Where You’ll Add Value
The Regional Marketing Manager plays a critical role in building and executing various digital marketing strategies within an assigned portfolio. They thrive in a demanding, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and possess strong analytical and communication skills. The role is responsible for managing marketing activities to increase suite occupancy in their assigned portfolio.
The objective is to build a competitive advantage by delivering a "Best in Class" customer experience from resident acquisition to retention. The Regional Marketing Manager provides leadership and direction in the implementation of digital marketing and customer relationship management strategies and initiatives. They will leverage their expertise to drive results by effectively communicating, sharing information, learnings, and knowledge with the Leasing & Operations Teams. As an expert, they will provide advice and guidance on marketing initiatives, as well as working closely with key business partners to understand business initiatives and developments to effectively plan and integrate execution activities.
How You’ll Make a Difference
Digital Marketing:
Manage paid and organic social media strategy.
Social media post creation & scheduling, including messaging, image creation, and preparation
Social media feedback monitoring & triage
Manage digital marketing strategy
PPC campaigns
Display advertising campaigns
Editorial campaigns
Email newsletters and eblast content creation.
Email contact list maintenance.
Blog writing & editing; ensure posts are distributed according to social calendar scheduling.
Lead & Manager SEO and Google marketing campaigns.
2. Website/ILS/Online Presence Management:
Lead strategies in executing Rhenti and Internet Listing Service (ILS) updates; ensure that pricing, incentives and content are current on listings.
Website and microsite maintenance, information audits, pricing adjustments and information accuracy.
Ensure Lead Management System maintenance; call tracking, email tracking.
Lead execution of Kijiji My Business weekly/monthly bump up and top ad schedules.
Resident Services, Community Partnerships & Event Management:
Maintain close working relationships with key business partners, to understand and influence business strategies, priorities, and direction; ensure business objectives can be realized through effective digital marketing plans.
Identify local strategic marketing and advertising opportunities for the individual communities.
Initiating and growing community partnership programs.
Coordinating and executing sales & leasing oriented events, including open houses & launch events.
Manage the resident events budget.
Work with the Operations team to execute marketing communications to Residents.
Identify internal and external event opportunities, developing event promotion & execution plans.
Vendor Relations:
Vendor relationship initiation, contract negotiation, and maintenance.
Plan project timelines, deliveries, and installations with 3rd party vendors.
Manage and Coordinate project timelines, deliveries, and installations with 3rd party vendors.
The Expertise You’ll Bring
5 years of experience in marketing required, including experience in Digital Marketing
Exposure to leasing/marketing/sales in a multi-residential or other related industry asset class would be an asset
Strong Computer and software skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Email, ILS, Social Media platforms, Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimization).
Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed is required
Travel: valid driver’s license and a vehicle required.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
University or post-secondary education required, preferably in Marketing
Knowledge of Yardi and a CRM platform would be an asset but not required
Experience with internet listing site marketing is an asset
