Where You’ll Add Value
The Supervisor, Revenue Accounting is accountable to the Divisional Controller for the timely and accurate completion of various accounting activities for an assigned portfolio and for ensuring financial reporting is timely, accurate, is completed in compliance with company’s accounting policies and procedures.
How You’ll Make a Difference
1. Banking & Deposit Management
• Set up and manage bank transfers across multiple funds
• Investigate and resolve bank deposit discrepancies, including teller errors and site team deposit errors
• Verify and manage new bank accounts, communicate updates to internal teams, operations, and external agencies
2. Charges, Collections & PAD Controls
• Posting / Ensuring posting of all tenant related recurring charges in Yardi
• Posting / Monitoring daily posting of receipts / cheques, online payments, wire and other forms of payments
• Review updates to bank deposits daily and ensure timely bank reconciliations
• Follow up with banks on NSFs, wire backups, and rejected transactions
• Reconciling individual funds in Bank with PAD collection Reports
• Identification and correction of PAD errors
• Cancel and monitor PADs for disposed properties, ensuring no unauthorized collections
• Resolve PAD, receipt, and posting errors, including assisting team members with reversing and reapplying receipts
• Ensuring application of credits / prepayments are done in tenant ledgers
3. Deposit Accounting, Tenant Refunds and LMR Interest
• Ensure Deposit Accounting is done for all tenants move outs
• Ensure Tenant refunds are timely processed based on respective province legislations
• Ensure LMR interest calculation and distribution
4. Agency & Rhenti Payments
• Follow up on agency remittance backups
• Post adjusting charges/entries to support rent and agency deposits
• Manage Rhenti postings and related discrepancies
5. Ledger Accuracy & Controls
• Work with site team and Property Accounting team to reconcile the GPR issues
• Investigate and correct ledger discrepancies related to deposits, clearing accounts, and resident activity related GL codes
• Ensure GL integrity through timely adjustments and reconciliation support
6. Team Support & Resource Coverage
• Managing day-to-day responsibilities of Revenue Accounting team
• Assist with reallocation of vacation coverage responsibilities to maintain operational continuity
• Provide hands-on support to team members for complex corrections and reconciliation issues
7. Systems, Projects & Documentation
• Support Yardi-related projects, including:
Process documentation
Testing support
Communication with Yardi support team
Develop and maintain monthly process of documentation and training materials
8. Training & Audit Support
• Provide training to new team members and roll out training for new or updated processes
• Coordinate and support audit requests, including data extraction and explaining of banking and revenue processes
• Adhoc projects as assigned
The Expertise You’ll Bring
College Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant supervisory experience
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Office applications.

Annualized Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000
