Where You’ll Add Value
Reporting to the Director of Regional Sales and Marketing, the Sales Support Specialist succeeds in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and possesses strong negotiation and communication skills. They are primarily responsible for the conversion of sales leads to leasing appointments, ensuring we are achieving sales and vacancy targets. The Sales Support Specialist works with and provides support to the community teams in maintaining their occupancy rate and achieving a vacancy budget.
How You’ll Make a Difference
Develop and maintain a strong, productive working relationship with the teams for all assigned communities
Demonstrate excellent sales abilities in converting prospect phone calls into leasing appointments
Respond to email leasing inquiries in order to convert inquiries into leasing appointments
Display excellent communication skills in accurately updating leasing team members of all new appointments
Maintain accurate record of all prospects in databases for statistical reporting purposes
Follow up with prospects who did not start an application in order to overcome objections or to begin an application.
Complete monthly appointment to sale conversion reports for commission payouts
The Expertise You’ll Bring
Completion of High School or general education degree (GED)
2+ years of related experience in a direct sale or call center
Proven track record of achieving sales targets/results
Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, Email, Internet)
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Ability to allocate one's time effectively, work well under pressure, and manage tight deadlines
Ability to take initiative in order to keep a high occupancy rate

Proven problem solving, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities
Excellent organizational skills with superior attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing needs within the organization
A commitment to “Best in Class” Customer Service
Team player with high degree of motivation and desire to collaborate with others to build and maintain relationships
Ability to accurately listen, understand and respond appropriately
Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelines
The ability to speak other languages is considered an asset.

Annualized Base Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000
Pay Equity
The salary range listed for this position reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered may vary and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, skills, certifications, internal pay equity and business needs.
